Why We Started
Tiny Tales and Treasures is a South African brand born from both love and loss. From the moment I found out I was pregnant, I was already a mom — carrying dreams, hopes, and a vision for the little life inside me. After experiencing child loss, I realised how truly precious every moment of pregnancy and parenthood is.
That journey inspired Moments of Magic: A Year of Firsts — more than a memory book, it’s a companion for mothers. A safe space to record the joys, fears, milestones, and emotions of their journey. Whether a baby is carried for weeks or for years, every moment matters, and every memory deserves to be honoured.
Tiny Tales and Treasures was created to give parents beautiful, meaningful ways to preserve those little details that fade too quickly — the first ultrasound, the cravings, the tiny hand-prints, the giggles, the first words. But our vision goes beyond memory-keeping.
We also believe that stories shape children’s futures. That’s why we created the Emo the Elephant series and other children’s storybooks: to teach timeless values like honesty, kindness, forgiveness, and sharing in a playful, age-appropriate way.
